Longwood welcomes qualified transfer students in the fall, spring and summer semesters.
Your application will be reviewed with primary emphasis on academic coursework taken at the college level. You are expected to have successfully completed at least 30 hours including course work in college level English, mathematics, natural science, and history/social science (No developmental coursework accepted)- especially if you need to makeup any high school deficiency (See Freshman Admissions). A cumulative 2.5 GPA from all colleges attended is necessary for consideration for admission. The minimum GPA does not imply automatic admission. The average GPA for accepted transfer students is 3.1.
